Burgundy Bundles With Closure: Color, Length and Lace Guide

Three unbranded burgundy wavy hair bundles and a matching lace closure arranged on a light stone tabletop

Compare documented burgundy bundle sets and check 99J color, bundle lengths, package contents, closure size, parting and hair care before ordering.

The best burgundy bundles with closure for your style are the ones that match all four parts of the order: the red shade, the curl pattern, the bundle lengths and the closure. A listing for three bundles is not necessarily a complete set, and a burgundy wig is a different product altogether.

Start with a complete set in your preferred texture, then check the closure separately. The maker-documented options below show useful differences in package contents and specifications. These are buying comparisons based on published details, rather than wear-test rankings or promises about shedding, longevity or colorfastness.

Burgundy bundle sets worth comparing

Documented set Hair and color Closure and package Main check before ordering
OneMoreHair Burgundy Body Wave Maker lists 100% Remy human hair, #99J Three bundles plus one 4 × 4-inch lace closure Confirm parting and lace shade; neither is clearly specified in the product details
QVR 99J Body Wave Maker lists 100% human hair, #99J Three bundles with a 4 × 4-inch Swiss-lace closure Selector says Free Part, while description also mentions Middle Part
Alipearl 99J Deep Wave Maker lists 100% human hair, #99J Burgundy Three wefts plus one middle-part closure Confirm the selected closure size and lace shade

Use these links to inspect the exact configuration. A documented product page or length menu does not guarantee that your combination is available to order.

OneMoreHair: a clearly stated body-wave package

The OneMoreHair page lists 100 g per bundle and 35–50 g for the closure. Its length menu includes both equal-length and graduated sets; for example, 18/20/22 + 16 means three bundle lengths followed by the closure length. The description and selector do not give identical overall length ranges, so rely on the specific configuration you confirm with the seller.

This is a useful starting point if you want body waves and a stated four-piece package. Ask for the closure’s parting design and lace color before choosing it for a particular installation. Do not assume that the 4 × 4 measurement also establishes lace transparency or a particular skin-tone match.

QVR: check the parting details carefully

QVR’s menu includes 18/20/22 with a 16-inch closure and identifies the selected color as #99J. Although the URL contains “ombre,” the product title and color selector do not establish a dark-root 1B/99J version. Order from the actual color option, not the URL wording.

The contradictory Free Part and Middle Part wording needs clarification if changing your part is important. The page also contains a cap-circumference field despite describing loose bundles with a closure; it should not be used as a sizing specification for a finished wig. Ask the seller to confirm the actual loose-hair package.

Alipearl: a deep-wave alternative

Alipearl lists bundle lengths of 12–26 inches, closure lengths of 10–20 inches and a bundle weight of 100 ± 5 g. It specifies a middle-part closure, but the captured product details do not establish the selected closure dimensions. Confirm that option rather than assuming every set uses 4 × 4 lace.

The maker limits its dye-compatibility claim to darker colors. That is not permission to bleach this pre-colored hair lighter. The page offers regional hair-type labels, including Brazilian and Peruvian; those are the seller’s descriptions, not independently verified donor origins.

Choose the burgundy shade before choosing the length

Write down whether you want an all-over wine-red look, dark roots with red lengths, or red highlights. Those are different orders even when each appears in a search for “burgundy.” A #99J label alone should not replace checking the maker’s pictures and the selected option.

  • Solid burgundy: Ask whether the closure and all three bundles use the same shade throughout.
  • Dark-root burgundy: Look for an explicitly described two-tone option, such as 1B/99J, and check how far the darker section extends.
  • Matching separate pieces: Ask the seller to confirm the bundle and closure color together. Matching numbers from two unrelated brands do not establish an exact match.

Request a clear view of the roots, mid-lengths and ends under ordinary lighting. A bright studio image can be useful for seeing texture, but it is a weak basis for choosing a very specific wine, plum or red undertone. Treat your own preference photo as a reference to discuss with the seller or stylist, rather than an exact color specification.

Read the package as four separate pieces

A typical three-bundle set with one closure has four pieces in total. Three bundles without a closure, four small bundles, one replacement closure and a ready-made closure wig are different packages. Check the written contents even if the main photograph shows several items.

For a hypothetical 16/18/20 + 14 set, verify that the seller means 16-, 18- and 20-inch wefts with a 14-inch closure. Also establish whether the measurements are taken with the wave stretched out. Your planned finished cut may need a different closure length from the longest bundle.

Bundle count alone does not tell you how much hair you will receive. Compare the stated weight per bundle, the closure weight and the intended length. Three 50 g bundles are not the same amount of loose hair as three 100 g bundles. Have your installer assess the amount needed for your head measurements, chosen texture and desired fullness; do not treat “three bundles” as a universal full-head guarantee.

Closure size, parting and lace are separate choices

Before paying, ask for the closure’s dimensions, an underside photograph and a close view of the part. A 4 × 4-inch label describes the nominal base dimensions; it does not promise that every millimeter is usable parting space or that the lace will disappear against your skin.

For a fixed center part, check that the supplied piece is actually a middle-part closure. For a movable part, ask where the hair can be parted on that particular base. A free-part description still needs to be considered alongside the size and construction.

Keep a frontal separate on your shopping list. An ear-to-ear frontal and a small top closure require different installation planning. A seller using both words loosely should supply a construction picture and exact dimensions before you decide. Likewise, “Swiss,” “HD” and “transparent” should be checked against the product’s explicit lace details rather than inferred from a flattering hairline photo.

Check the fiber and treatment history

The three documented sets above are described by their makers as human hair. That is a manufacturer claim; it is not a laboratory verification. If another listing says synthetic, human-hair blend or mixed fiber, do not carry over the same styling assumptions. Ask what the blend contains and which care instructions apply to the whole piece.

Grade labels such as 8A, 10A or 12A are not enough information for this comparison. Request the fiber content, processing history, weight and exact package instead. A pre-colored burgundy product also needs color-specific advice even when its title includes “virgin” or “unprocessed.” Do not interpret those words as proof that the finished red hair has never been treated.

If you plan to recolor, bleach, perm or regularly straighten the hair, get instructions for that exact product before purchase. A general “can be dyed” statement does not tell you the safe process, likely result or whether the closure and wefts will respond alike.

Plan care around the selected set

Alipearl’s bundle-care guidance recommends gentle washing with mild or moisturizing shampoo and lukewarm water, conditioning, careful towel blotting and complete air-drying. It advises against wringing or twisting, suggests working from the ends upward, and distinguishes finger-styling curly hair from using a wide-tooth comb for wavy hair. These are Alipearl’s general instructions; obtain any additional requirements for its colored set.

For any brand, save the supplied care directions before installation. Ask which cleanser and conditioner suit the pre-colored hair, whether there is a heat limit, and what color transfer or fading the seller expects. Follow the exact product instructions instead of adopting a hot-tool temperature from another hair brand or another fiber type.

Inspect the unused package first. Compare the closure with the bundles, check the lengths and photograph what arrived. Read the return conditions before washing, coloring, cutting wefts, cutting lace or installing the hair, since those steps may affect whether the seller will accept a return.

Before you order

  1. Choose solid burgundy or an explicitly identified dark-root version.
  2. Confirm the texture and fiber content of both the bundles and closure.
  3. Record every bundle length, the closure length and the weight per piece.
  4. Check closure dimensions, parting layout, lace material and lace shade.
  5. Have your installer confirm the package will suit the planned style.
  6. Read the exact variant’s availability, delivery estimate and return conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Does a 99J listing always mean dark roots?

No. Check for a specifically described ombre or two-tone option. The selected color and product photographs should agree on the roots as well as the ends.

Is a closure included with every bundle deal?

No. The written package contents should name the number of bundles and the closure separately. A closure pictured beside bundles is not enough to establish what your selected option includes.

Can I use the same heat and dye settings on every burgundy set?

No universal settings are established here. Fiber content, prior coloring and the maker’s instructions determine what treatment is appropriate for the piece you buy.
