Cognizant will soon acquire the company Zenith Technologies to invest in IoT strength

Cognizant has said that they will soon be acquiring Zenith Technologies. The amount of money Cognizant will be spending to buy Zenith Technologies is still unknown. This step will help Cognizant to strengthen its Internet of Things. This is the first acquisition which was announced by the IT service which is major after Brian Humphries which took charge as the Chief Executive Officer. Zenith Technologies have their headquarters in Ireland where they have their life science manufacturing technology service company which specializes in implementing digital technologies to manage control and optimize drug and medical device production for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. This acquisition is extending Cognizant’s capabilities for implementation and design. The IT company is witnessing a lot of potential in the life science sector and is now focusing all their attention there. Humphries was quoted saying in the release:
“Industry 4.0 solutions, encompassing IoT, automation, and analytics, are a strategic focus area for Cognizant. In acquiring Zenith Technologies, we expand Cognizant’s IoT portfolio and extend our life sciences domain expertise by becoming a single-source provider of end-to-end smart factory capabilities.”
