Archive: June 2019. This report concerns Cubic’s plans for the 2019 International Paris Air Show. The event dates below are historical.
On June 16, 2019, Cubic Corporation announced that its Cubic Global Defense division would exhibit air-combat training systems at the 53rd International Paris Air Show, held June 17–23 at Le Bourget Airport in France.
The company’s original announcement identified two featured systems at the U.S. Partnership Pavilion, Hall 3, stand 3-E161:
- Multi-Domain Advanced Training Environment: Cubic described a family of systems linking air and ground platforms and sensors with virtual and constructive entities for training. LVC refers to live, virtual and constructive training.
- Individual Combat Aircrew Display System (ICADS): Cubic described Windows-based software for aircrew display and debriefing. Used with P5CTS Live Monitor, it supported real-time training coordination and recording for later debriefs.
Mike Knowles, then president of Cubic Global Defense, promoted the company’s fourth- and fifth-generation training interoperability. Those statements were company claims in the announcement, rather than independent performance findings by this publication.
Archive clarification
