The vice president of Finance of Google has joined the Board of Directors of Postmates. They need the updated sign for the startup which is going to begin at the public’s company.
Kristin Reinke is the Vice President of Google Finance. Postmates has announced that Kristin will join the Francisco strut as an independent director.
Reinke is working for Google since the year of 2005. Before that, she worked for Oracle for eight years. She is also serving as the Federal Bank of San Francisco’s Economic advisor.
She can show her other skills when the organization creeps towards an IPO.
At the beginning of this year, the organization has planned finance of pre-IPO which is worth $100 million. That increases the value to $1.85 million. The main investors of the Postmates are BlackRock, Tiger Global, Slow Ventures, Spark Capital, Founders Fund, Uncork Capital and others.
Reinke stated that:
“Postmates has established itself as the market leader with a focus on innovation and route efficiency in the fast‐growing on‐demand delivery sector. Given their strong execution, accelerating growth, and financial discipline, they are well positioned for continued market growth across the U.S.,” and she also said that “I’m thrilled to join the board.”
The startup is thinking about many projects to develop their business. They have already hired Apple Veteran and Author, Ken Koecienda. He is working as a head of principal software engineer at Postmates X. The main motto of his team is to set up the food delivery company’s semi-autonomous sidewalk rover.
Kocienda is the author of “Creative Selection: Inside Apple’s Design Process During the Golden Age of Steve Jobs.” He has experience of working as a human interface designer at Apple. He was on the team who made the first iPad, Apple watch and iPhone.
