Huawei Mate 30 might end up launching New Android compatible operating system
Written by Colin Newlyn
It is a well-known fact that Huawei is developing an alternative operating system for Android. Google has ended up deciding that they will no longer be supporting all the old phones from Huawei smartphones. Since Google has decided not to support Huawei, it has decided that it needs an operating system which is much stable and futuristic. The new operating system which is designed by Huawei is now called HongMeng OS. This operating system will be launched in the month of August or September. In China, Google services are blocked for the time being. Huawei is now using the open-sourced version of Android. This basically limits all the updates which are based on security. According to the rumors, which have come to light, the Mate 30 will be the phone which comes with the new Operating System. This operating system ties for Huawei costs a lot of money, and this is one of the reasons why they are trying to build their own operating system. The compatibility with Android is the key requirement for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer now. Huawei is now in talks with the developer’s community pointing out that they have shipped a total of 350 million devices in the last two years and they have about 270 million monthly active users on their AppGalary. Huawei has been trying to build an operating system for quite a long period of time. The work of the operating system has been going on since 2012. Now that Huawei is unable to use Android anymore, they are speeding up their development process so that they can use their own operating system for all the Huawei branded phones that they will be releasing this year after August.
