According to a report of CNN business,
Apple is going to shift its production portion from the US to China.
The final production of the device Mac Pro will not be done in Austin, Texas. The last version of this product was made there.
AAPL will collaborate with Quanta Computer.
Quanta Computer is an organization of China. They will set up their production house in the area of other apple factories. The report also said that it will decrease the shifting cost.
This decision was taken after taking a few suggestions from the administration of Trump and China.
AAPl (apple) stated in CNN business that:
“Final assembly is only one part of the manufacturing process,” and they also added that “Like all of our products, the new Mac Pro is designed and engineered in California and includes components from several countries including the United States.”
The organization said that they are going to spend around $60 billion in the year 2019 for the 9000 suppliers and the facilities for manufacturing in 30 states.
They also have a plan to give a fund of $100 million for the Austin Plant.
Flex, who runs the foundation in Austin and Quanta have refused to comment anything on this agenda.
The interest of Apple is increasing day by day on this project and the president of the nation is also making this agenda a talking topic. In a presidential campaign, he said that he would:
“get Apple to build their damn computers and things in this country instead of other countries.”
Tim Cook has also promised that they will build three plants in the US.
Trump told a journal that:
“you know, Tim, unless you start building your plants in this country, I won’t consider my administration an economic success,” and he also added that “He called me, and he said they are going forward.”
Apple makes its own iPad and iPhone displays. They make the products from a factory which is situated in Kentucky. The Avago technology makes some cell and wifi radios at Texas.
The production of Austin has the authority to give a stamp of assembled in the USA on their products. The stamp is smaller than other products which are made in China and other countries. The Mac Pro is a product which has a price of $6000. It is made for some professional use like video editing and rendering.
They have updated the product after almost six years. Many influencers are calling the device as reminiscent of a cheese grater.
The product is designed by Jony Ive. He has already designed Apple’s famous candy colored iMacs, headquarters, which looks like a spaceship and many iPhones. The organization has declared that he is leaving the post after almost 30 years.
